Here at the Cantera Montessori, we can’t wait to provide opportunities for children to learn and explore, even during outside play. As we were developing our outdoor play area, we put together an ideal space for children to let their imaginations lead to their own unique discoveries.
This new outdoor play area offers children vast opportunities to grow and nurture their developing bodies and mind. Each feature was chosen to help your child reach important developmental goals. The large, open play structure promotes social play and develops your child’s ability to communicate with their peers while exploring their emotions. Our tactile panels promote manipulation and coordination while building fine motor skills. The bridges, walkways, and ramps build balance and coordination. Open play items such as stepping stones and telescopes promote the use and expansion of your child’s imagination. Our three slides aren’t just fun, they also develop gross motor skills such as balance and coordination. The climbing walls will not only help build your child’s confidence; it will expand their problem-solving skills, memory, and full body coordination.
