Enrichment Studios

MSOSV is very pleased to provide children the afternoon enrichment studios. Rather than “daycare or after-care” the day is wrapped up with an enrichment studio for the children to choose if they like.

The fully implemented Montessori curriculum continues all through the morning each day. The Studio Enrichment Programs are offered in the afternoon program and are in addition to everything we already offer.

Each Studio has a specialized teacher who work alongside the Montessori guides. The children are still able to choose Montessori work or participate in the studio.

The MSOSV Enrichment Studio Programs enhances the child’s educational experience. Art, Gardening and STEM are offered in 12 week sessions from 4 pm to 6 pm daily.

Children in the afternoon program can choose the studio program, Montessori curriculum, independent art, cultural and other practical life activities in the classroom.

The Enrichment Studios are designed to be “process centered”. However, at the end of each 12 week session, an “Opening” is prepared. This is an opportunity for the children to show off their work in the studio.
