About The Event

Spring into Montessori

Come learn more about Montessori and let your child participate in our activities and crafts as we kickoff the season of Spring!

We embrace Maria Montessori’s beliefs that all children are born with the inherent ability to achieve their full potential; are active participants in their learning; benefit greatly from strong, integrated academic & enrichment programs and that the teacher is the dynamic link in this process.

What To Do At This Event

Practical Life Activity

Flower Arranging

Your child will be able to create their own flower arrangement, which they will be able to take home, this is a great way to help brighten up a room. In our Montessori classrooms, children create flower arrangements to help beautify their work environment.

Enrichment Studio Activity

Harvesting Carrots

Children are naturally curious, they want to know how things work and where they come from. While harvesting carrots they learn about where some of our food may come from. They also get to see the results of their diligence in caring for and watering their plants.

Art Activity

Nature Bracelets

A fun art activity where the children get to find things in nature and use them to create something that they can wear and enjoy. You can engage with your child by asking them to tell you about the items they picked for their bracelet. Perhaps they had particular colors they picked.
