On October 10th, our kindergarteners from our Cantera campus enjoyed a fall adventure at Sweet Eats Farm in Georgetown, Texas. The children spent the day exploring, learning, and celebrating the season in a hands-on way.
The trip began with a walk through the pumpkin fields, where each child got to explore all the different types and sizes of pumpkins.
Throughout the visit, the children experienced petting goats and sheep, held baby chicks, and got to use an apple cannon. Each activity deepened their curiosity about nature while reinforcing what they’ve been learning in the classroom.
Our teaching team guided the children with energy and care, turning every experience into a meaningful learning moment. The trip reflected our belief that real-world experiences enrich classroom learning and help inspire a lifelong love of discovery.
As always, thank you to our parent volunteers for joining us!
At Cantera Montessori, “Children First, Always” continues to guide everything we do. This field trip was a celebration of the season, of learning, and of the joy that comes from exploring the world together.
