Welcome to our website!
Back in 2002 we opened our first campus on Calaveras Boulevard, and now the Montessori School of Silicon Valley has grown to four campus locations.  Three of our sites are in Milpitas, CA and now our newest location has opened in Santa Clara on the former One World Montessori campus on Cabrillo Avenue.
Formally trained as an AMS Montessori Teacher, I began my career as a Montessori Administrator in 1992 opening my first school in the year 2000.
Our vision of “Children First, Always” is the guiding principle of everything we do. We follow a simple philosophy, designed by Dr. Montessori where the teacher, child and environment create a learning triangle.
Our schools serve children as young as six weeks old all the way up through Lower Elementary age levels.  The classroom is prepared by the teacher to encourage independence, freedom within limits, and a sense of order.
The child, through individual choice, makes use of what the environment offers to develop himself, interacting with the teacher when support and/or guidance is needed.
Not every Montessori school is alike. We are committed to a fully implemented Montessori Program. You are invited to review our website and learn more about our philosophy, staff and commitment to children.
In addition to our vision, our schools are clean, inviting and welcoming. Not only do we hire great Montessori Teachers, we hire great people who love children, have a passion for the Montessori philosophy and harbor a desire to continue growing both as a person as well as a Montessori educator.
When Calaveras Montessori founded in the year 2000, I worked in the children’s garden for several years. Being a part of the process of discovery with the child has been a priceless experience for me.
Offering enrichment activities, such as gardening, dance, cooking, art and foreign language has proven to be wonderful for the child and assists busy working parents.  This hands-on background keeps me connected to the child and the classrooms.
I believe that I can share my vision of “Children First, Always” in each and every classroom in our schools and I invite you to come and tour all of our campus locations!
