We’re so excited to introduce Ms. Karla, our warm and dedicated Lead Guide in the Pinnacles Pre Primary community at Cabrillo Montessori!
Born in Riverside and raised in the Bay Area, California has always been home for Ms. Karla. She joined the Montessori School of Silicon Valley (MSOSV) in January 2023, beginning her journey as an Assistant at our Crescent Montessori location. Her passion and natural connection with children quickly blossomed, and by July 2024, she stepped into her role as Lead Guide here at our Cabrillo Montessori location.
Ms. Karla completed her Early Childhood Education coursework at San Jose City College and San Jose State University in 2022 and brings with her a thoughtful, grounded approach to supporting each child’s development.
What inspires Ms. Karla most? The children. She is continually amazed by their independence, resilience, and the creative ways they interact with the world around them. Her favorite part of teaching is watching children blossom, confidently exploring their environment and reaching milestones with joy and determination.
In her free time, Ms. Karla loves to read, pick up new hobbies, and stay curious. Whether it’s trying a new dessert recipe or discovering a new favorite spot around town, she brings a spirit of exploration to everything she does. And here’s a fun little fact: she finds total silence a challenge and always needs a little background music or sound to focus.
