The Kindergarten class at our Cantera Montessori Campus took part in a meaningful field trip this December. Our Cantera Kindergarten students had an incredible learning adventure during their field trip to Cutter Aviation. The day gave children a first-hand look at the fascinating world of aviation. They explored the airport facilities, watched planes up close, and met aviation professionals who explained how pilots, mechanics, and ground crews work together to keep planes safe and ready for travel. At Montessori School of Silicon Valley, the Thanksgiving Feast is a time to come together as a classroom and school community. On November 11th, our Lead Guides will meet with each family for Parent Teacher Conferences. These sessions give parents and teachers the opportunity to reflect on each child’s progress and set goals for the months ahead. On October 28th, our families gathered for a festive evening filled with costumes, decorated vehicles, and community fun. Highlights included children trunk-or-treating in costume, families showcasing creativity with decorated cars and even military vehicles, and joyful atmosphere shared by all. Our Trunk or Treat is a highlight of the fall season. On Tuesday, October 28th, from 6–7:30 PM, families will come together for a festive and safe way to celebrate Halloween. This special evening is designed to give children a joyful experience while strengthening our community bonds. Here’s what you can look forward to: Trunk-or-Treating: Children will have the chance to walk from car to car, collecting candy and small prizes from families who have decorated their vehicles. On October 10th, our kindergarteners from our Cantera campus enjoyed a fall adventure at Sweet Eats Farm in Georgetown, Texas. The children spent the day exploring, learning, and celebrating the season in a hands-on way. The trip began with a walk through the pumpkin fields, where each child got to explore all the different types and sizes of pumpkins. Throughout the visit, the children experienced petting goats and sheep, held baby chicks, and got to use an apple cannon. Our annual Harvest Festival is almost here! On Friday, October 17th, from 4–5 pm, our families will gather for an afternoon filled with seasonal fun and tradition. To help your child feel confident for their portraits, sibling photos, and class pictures, here are a few tips: Choose comfortable clothing that helps your child feel at ease.
