Kindergarten Class Explores Community Helpers
On September 19th, our Kindergarteners visited San Jose Fire Station 16 for a memorable field trip focused on community helpers. This experience connected directly to their classroom studies while giving them an up-close look at the important role firefighters play in keeping our community safe. Each month, our kindergarteners visit a different community site tied to curricular themes, from cultural arts and local businesses to civic services and nature spaces. The Montessori Journey & Discovery event offers a powerful glimpse into your child’s classroom experience. On September 18th and 19th at 5:00 PM, currently enrolled families and families in the process of enrolling are invited to work with real Montessori materials such as the Pink Tower and Geography puzzle maps, gaining insights into how these tools foster independence, focus, and joy in learning.
