On October 28th, our families gathered for a festive evening filled with costumes, decorated vehicles, and community fun. Highlights included children trunk-or-treating in costume, families showcasing creativity with decorated cars and even military vehicles, and joyful atmosphere shared by all. We are grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make this event such a success. Trunk or Treat continues to highlight the heart and spirit of our Cantera community. On October 24th, our MSOSV Kindergarteners enjoyed a field trip to Spina Farms Pumpkin Patch. This special outing connected to classroom lessons about farms, nature, and the changing seasons. The trip gave our students a chance to explore these themes in a real-world setting. Immersion in Farm Life The day began with a guided tour through the the lifecycle of a pumpkin. Students listened to an engaging talk about pumpkins and farming, sparking curiosity and giving them new knowledge to bring back into the classroom. Our Trunk or Treat is a highlight of the fall season. On Tuesday, October 28th, from 6–7:30 PM, families will come together for a festive and safe way to celebrate Halloween. This special evening is designed to give children a joyful experience while strengthening our community bonds. Here’s what you can look forward to: Trunk-or-Treating: Children will have the chance to walk from car to car, collecting candy and small prizes from families who have decorated their vehicles. On October 10th, our kindergarteners from our Cantera campus enjoyed a fall adventure at Sweet Eats Farm in Georgetown, Texas. The children spent the day exploring, learning, and celebrating the season in a hands-on way. The trip began with a walk through the pumpkin fields, where each child got to explore all the different types and sizes of pumpkins. Throughout the visit, the children experienced petting goats and sheep, held baby chicks, and got to use an apple cannon. Each activity deepened their curiosity about nature while reinforcing what they’ve been learning
