Spring Egg Hunt at Peak Ave Montessori: Closing Out the Week Together

Last Friday, March 27th, our Peak Ave Montessori campus welcomed families for a joyful spring celebration that brought our community together in a shared moment of connection.

The afternoon centered around a simple and meaningful tradition. Children and families gathered outdoors for an egg hunt filled with color, movement, and discovery. For our Buttercup Nido children, the experience offered a gentle and engaging way to explore. For our Poppy and Lupine children, it was an opportunity to share in the excitement of the season alongside their peers and families.

In preparation for the celebration, the children contributed by making snacks to share with their community. As a natural extension of the Montessori Practical Life curriculum, they carefully prepared cut watermelon, sun butter and jelly sandwiches, and refreshing drinks, offering a thoughtful gesture of hospitality that reflected their care for one another.

Moments like these reflect the heart of our community. Families, children, and guides come together not only to celebrate the season, but to strengthen the connections that make our campus feel like home.

It was a joyful afternoon of fun and exploration, and the perfect way to head into the weekend and spring break.
