What Families Will Experience at Kindergarten Night at MSOSV
On Thursday, January 29th, each MSOSV campus will host a Kindergarten Information Night designed to help families of incoming kindergarteners prepare for this important transition.
This evening is a chance for parents to get a first-hand look at what kindergarten means at MSOSV, how it builds on the Primary years, and how it compares with other public and private school options.
What You’ll Learn:
- Our Approach to Kindergarten: Families will hear how our kindergarten program blends academic readiness with independence, social growth, and curiosity. Teachers will highlight how Montessori foundations continue to guide children through hands-on learning in literacy, math, science, and cultural studies.
- How Kindergarten Differs from the Primary Program: Parents will see how lessons expand to challenge children’s developing skills while still keeping the Montessori emphasis on self-direction and exploration.
- How We Compare with Other Programs: Our team will share what sets MSOSV apart from traditional kindergarten classrooms, including individualized learning, small community-focused settings, and a balance of structure and choice.
Meet Our Teaching Team
Our teachers will be available throughout the evening to walk families through the classroom environment and answer questions. This is a great opportunity to get to know the team who will guide your child through a key stage of growth.
Why Attend?
Kindergarten is a milestone year when children step into a new level of learning, responsibility, and independence. At MSOSV, we want families to feel confident about this transition. By attending Kindergarten Information Night, you’ll leave with:
- A clear understanding of our kindergarten curriculum.
- Insights into how we prepare children for elementary school and beyond.
- Confidence in the nurturing, supportive environment your child will experience.
We look forward to welcoming families for this special event and sharing how MSOSV helps children start their elementary years with joy, confidence, and curiosity.
