Spreading Joy: Peak Ave Montessori’s First Holiday Toy Drive
This December, Peak Ave Montessori proudly participated in the Toys 4 Our Own Toy Drive, supporting the Edward Boss Prado Foundation’s mission to bring holiday cheer to children in local Morgan Hill schools. From December 1st–19th, families donated brand new, unwrapped toys for children aged 5–13, filling our school with the spirit of giving. Kindergarteners Explore and Learn at the Children’s Discovery Museum
Our Kindergarteners from the Cabrillo, Crescent, and Peak Ave campuses had an exciting adventure on December 5th. They spent the day at the Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose, a place filled with hands-on exhibits that encourage curiosity and creativity. At Montessori School of Silicon Valley, the Thanksgiving Feast is a time to come together as a classroom and school community. Bringing Montessori to Life at Ardenwood Historic Farm
Our Kindergarten students spent a wonderful day at Ardenwood Historic Farm on November 6th. This special field trip gave them the chance to step back in time and see what life was like on a working farm. The children explored wide open fields, met farm animals, and learned about traditional farming practices. Parent Teacher Conferences – Supporting Your Child’s Growth
On November 11th, our Lead Guides will meet with each family for Parent Teacher Conferences. These sessions give parents and teachers the opportunity to reflect on each child’s progress and set goals for the months ahead. Here’s what you can expect: Personalized insights: Teachers will share highlights from the classroom and discuss developmental milestones. Progress reports: Each family will receive a written report on Friday, November 7th as a reference for your meeting. On October 24th, our MSOSV Kindergarteners enjoyed a field trip to Spina Farms Pumpkin Patch. This special outing connected to classroom lessons about farms, nature, and the changing seasons. A Family Guide to Trunk or Treat at Our California Campuses
Our Trunk or Treat is a highlight of the fall season. On Friday, October 24th, from 6–7:30 PM, families will come together for a festive and safe way to celebrate Halloween. This special evening is designed to give children a joyful experience while strengthening our community bonds.
