On October 24th, our MSOSV Kindergarteners enjoyed a field trip to Spina Farms Pumpkin Patch. This special outing connected to classroom lessons about farms, nature, and the changing seasons. The trip gave our students a chance to explore these themes in a real-world setting. Immersion in Farm Life The day began with a guided tour through the the lifecycle of a pumpkin. Our Trunk or Treat is a highlight of the fall season. On Friday, October 24th, from 6–7:30 PM, families will come together for a festive and safe way to celebrate Halloween. This special evening is designed to give children a joyful experience while strengthening our community bonds. Here’s what you can look forward to: Trunk-or-Treating: Children will have the chance to walk from car to car, collecting candy and small prizes from families who have decorated their vehicles. The First Annual Harvest Festival at our Peak Ave campus is almost here! On Thursday, October 16th, from 4–5 pm, our families will gather for an afternoon filled with seasonal fun and tradition. Children can come dressed in their favorite costumes and enjoy hands-on arts and crafts with their families that capture the spirit of fall. To help your child feel confident for their portraits, sibling photos, and class pictures, here are a few tips: Choose comfortable clothing that helps your child feel at ease. On September 19th, our Kindergarteners visited San Jose Fire Station 16 for a memorable field trip focused on community helpers. This experience connected directly to their classroom studies while giving them an up-close look at the important role firefighters play in keeping our community safe. The Montessori Journey & Discovery event offers a powerful glimpse into your child’s classroom experience.
