Blog
For those of you who are new to the Montessori School of Silicon Valley, double welcome!
To those families who have been with us, thank you for entrusting us with your child for another year.
This year has seen MSOSV grow to four beautiful campus locations. This September we opened Cabrillo Montessori in Santa Clara with 18 wonderful children, two classrooms and a fantastic dedicated Montessori staff including our Site Director, Ms. Erin and our Lead Guides, Ms. Karen (Primary) and Mrs. Nelly (Pre-Primary).
Now that we have Cabrillo open and as we begin to settle into the new school year, we will begin posting our blog weekly on www.msosv.com.
Our blog will include contributions from our staff of over 40 professional Montessori educators who will be providing content about the Montessori classroom as well as address different age groups ranging from Nido (infants) to Pre-Primary (toddlers) to Primary and up through Kindergarten and elementary age children.
We will blog about the Montessori philosophy, parent communication, how to help your child to be independent in the home and what you can expect as a parent.
Our posts will include what inspires us, things that are happening in the schools, and the fun things children do. We are excited to kick off our series with this introductory blog.
So please check with us regularly and feel free to share our posts with your friends, family and co-workers. Provide your feedback and let us know what you would like to hear from us about.
With that, I will leave you with the subject of our next blog in this series – which also happens to be our motto here at the Montessori School of Silicon Valley-
“Children First, Always”.
