We’re so excited to spotlight Ms. Amanda, our incredible Head of School at Peak Ave Montessori! With nearly 13 years of experience working with children—and over 10 years as part of the MSOSV organization—Ms. Amanda brings a wealth of knowledge, heart, and leadership to our community.
Her journey began in ABA therapy and community outreach before she discovered her true calling in Montessori education in 2015. Since then, she’s earned a BA in Psychology, a Montessori Primary Credential, and completed extensive training in early childhood education, leadership, and supporting children with exceptionalities.
What inspires Ms. Amanda most about Montessori? The way it empowers children to grow into confident, compassionate, and independent individuals. Her favorite part of the day is when a child invites her to share in their success—whether it’s overcoming a challenge or proudly showing their work.
Outside of school, Ms. Amanda loves family time, trying out new breakfast spots, hiking local trails, and re-reading Montessori’s writings. She also finds joy in studying the art of leadership and continuous personal growth.
As Peak Ave Montessori opens its doors, Ms. Amanda is thrilled to build meaningful relationships with the Morgan Hill community and support the blossoming of our Lupine, Poppy, and Buttercup classrooms.
