Two Days, Four Communities: How Crescent Montessori Celebrates Spring
This year, the spring Egg Hunt at our Crescent Montessori campus in Milpitas spans two full days: Thursday, April 9th and Friday, April 10th. Four communities will take part, each gathering separately for their own session.
Thursday begins with our Monet Primary community at 9:00 AM, followed by Van Gogh Primary community at 4:00 PM. Friday brings Cassatt Pre Primary community in the morning at 9:00 AM and O’Keeffe Primary community at 4:00 PM to close out the celebration.
Running the egg hunt across two days reflects how seriously we take each community’s experience. A single large event can become chaotic and impersonal. By giving each group their own time and space on our campus, every child gets a focused, appropriately paced celebration, not a crowded one.
For our Cassatt Pre Primary children, who are still building their capacity for group participation, a smaller, structured morning session allows them to engage fully without overstimulation. For our Van Gogh, Monet, and O’Keeffe Primary communities, the egg hunt is a social and seasonal tradition, something they can anticipate, participate in, and carry with them as part of the shared experience of their classroom community.
These are the kinds of events that become part of a child’s memory of their school years. At Crescent Montessori, we approach them with care. We look forward to celebrating spring with each of our four communities at the end of next week.
