When envisioning a program for the ‘founding’ families at our new Fawn Meadow Campus, MSOSV delved into the captivating history of the Fawn Meadow area. We were immediately captivated by the profound alignment between the meadow’s natural dynamics and our core values, encapsulated in the CARING model.
The area was named for a tranquil meadow with mother deer who dutifully care for fawns. Under their mother’s guidance they learn and explore their own independence. As the fawns grow and gain confidence, they would test their speed and agility through exuberant leaps, all while their watchful mothers observe without disruption. In many ways, Fawn Meadow Montessori School emulates the secure, sunlit, and well-protected environment that nurtures the young fawns. Here, children are afforded the freedom to explore, learn, and develop independence—mirroring the transformative journey experienced by the fawns in the meadow.
Given this alignment to our CARING values and uniqueness of every fawn living in a meadow, this special environment provides the perfect theme for the initial group of families who join our school community.

Like each fawn born in the meadow, every family who joins our Fawn Meadow founding family community brings a set of unique characteristics which when combined with the other Fawn families create a unique and dynamic environment.

Like the mother deer, taking care of her young fawn and being responsible to help them become strong independent, capable deer, by partnering closely with the Montessori staff, Fawn families will assist their child’s personal educational journey by embracing their responsibility in the collective success of the school.

Montessori Guides are in a class by themselves with their own pedagogy and vocabulary, as evidenced by the incredible environment and community they create.
