• SAGE Instructor Spotlight: Ms. Amanda

With over 20 years in education—including more than a decade as a Montessori Lead Guide and Head of School—Ms. Amanda brings a deep passion for Montessori philosophy to everything she does. Her journey has taken her from the classroom to administration, and now into teacher training, where she mentors adult learners in applying Montessori principles with confidence and purpose.

She holds a Montessori Primary Teaching Certificate, a BA in Psychology, and has completed extensive professional development in areas such as inclusivity and infant and toddler development.

Ms. Amanda’s approach to adult education mirrors the heart of Montessori: self-directed learning, critical thinking, and respect for individuality. She creates prepared environments for adult learners where curiosity is welcomed, reflection is encouraged, and every voice matters.

One of her favorite moments? Watching a practicum student experience the power of stepping back and trusting the child—an “aha” moment with the Trinomial Cube that transformed her understanding of independence in the classroom.

For Ms. Amanda, mentorship is about more than just skill-building—it’s about nurturing purpose, confidence, and voice. Through meaningful connections and thoughtful guidance, she supports educators on their Montessori path, modeling the same lifelong learning she hopes to inspire in others.
