We’re thrilled to shine this week’s Staff Spotlight on Ms. Jea, a dedicated and passionate leader at Crescent Montessori School whose journey through Montessori education continues to inspire!
With over 13 years of experience working with young children, Ms. Jea brings warmth, wisdom, and an unwavering commitment to helping each child flourish. She earned her AMS Montessori Credential in 2018 and completed her BA in Early Childhood Education in 2020—a reflection of her lifelong dedication to growth and learning.
Ms. Jea began her journey at Crescent in 2015 as an assistant in the Pre-Primary community. She quickly advanced to the Primary classroom and became Lead Guide in Van Gogh by 2016. The Montessori philosophy immediately resonated with her—especially its emphasis on independence, peace, and the joy of discovery in a thoughtfully prepared environment.
In 2019, she stepped into the role of Head of School, where she continues to support guides and families in creating a nurturing space where every child can thrive. For Ms. Jea, the most meaningful part of her work is witnessing children grow into confident, capable learners with a deep love of learning.
Today, Ms. Jea leads Crescent Montessori School with compassion, clarity, and a steadfast belief in every child’s potential.
