Fall is a wonderful time to come together, celebrate the changing season, and create lasting memories with our school community. At Peak Ave Montessori, our annual Harvest Festival is a special opportunity for children, families, and teachers to enjoy an afternoon filled with seasonal activities, meaningful connections, and a little fall fun!

In preparation for the festivities, our children have been busy creating their very own Harvest Festival bags. From sweet handprints and footprints in our youngest communities to the unique and creative designs of our Primary children, each bag reflects a little piece of the child’s personality and growing independence. These handmade creations will accompany children throughout the festival as they collect treats and prizes, becoming a special keepsake for families to enjoy for years to come.

This year’s celebration will feature festive games, hands-on crafts, treats, and a small pumpkin patch featuring pumpkins from a local vendor. Each child will have the opportunity to select a pumpkin of their own to bring home, adding a little extra fall magic to the afternoon. Children are also welcome to dress in their favorite costumes as we celebrate the season together!

While the activities bring plenty of excitement, the heart of our Harvest Festival is the sense of community it creates. As one of our first family gatherings of the school year, this event offers a wonderful opportunity for parents to connect, children to share their school community with loved ones, and families to build friendships that extend beyond the classroom.
