As the school year draws to a close, our Kindergarten students from Cabrillo Montessori, Crescent Montessori, and Peak Ave Montessori came together for a special tradition: their final field trip of the year.

This year’s destination was Creighton Park in Milpitas, one of the city’s newer community parks and the perfect setting for a day of exploration, friendship, and celebration.

For many of the children, this field trip was an opportunity to connect with fellow Kindergarteners from across our California campuses. Throughout the day, they enjoyed time on the playground, explored the park’s features, and shared plenty of laughter and conversation with friends both old and new.

The beautiful weather provided the perfect backdrop for outdoor play and adventure. Children ran, climbed, imagined, and collaborated together, demonstrating the confidence, independence, and social skills they have developed throughout their Montessori journey.

Of course, no celebration would be complete without a special treat. After a morning of fun, the children gathered to enjoy pizza and popsicles, giving them another opportunity to relax, connect, and celebrate the friendships they have built this year.

As we watched these students interact, it was impossible not to reflect on how much they have grown. From their first days in Montessori to now, they have developed a strong sense of independence, curiosity, responsibility, and respect for others. These qualities will serve them well as they move on to their next educational adventures.

This final field trip was more than just a day at the park. It was a celebration of a remarkable year of learning, growth, and community.
