At Cantera Montessori School of Silicon Valley, we have the joy of watching children grow from their earliest months into confident, compassionate, and curious individuals. This week, we’re honored to highlight the Yuhas Family, who have been part of our community since their daughter Iris was just 6 months old.

Now a thriving preschooler, Iris arrives at school eager to learn and play alongside her friends and teachers. Her joy is visible at every pick-up—especially when Pawpaw and Gigi arrive on Fridays.
“She is always so happy and has several of her friends willing to help gather her belongings.”
This sense of community and connection is what makes Cantera so special. The bonds Iris has formed with her classmates and the supportive environment she experiences daily are helping her blossom in every way.
