We’re thrilled to spotlight Ms. Kaho, Lead Guide of the Van Gogh Community at Crescent Montessori! Since returning to Crescent in 2023, Ms. Kaho has been a steady, nurturing presence—bringing warmth, creativity, and a deep passion for Montessori education.
Her teaching journey began back in high school through a Teaching Academy program, sparking a lifelong love for working with children. After earning her ECE units from the California College of Early Childhood Education in 2017, she began her Montessori path at Crescent in 2018 as a Floater Teacher. She quickly rose to Assistant in 2019 and then Lead Guide at Main Street Montessori in 2020. Now back where it all started, we’re so grateful to have her leading with heart in the Van Gogh Community.
Ms. Kaho is drawn to the Montessori method for its emphasis on child-led discovery, independence, and confidence-building. Inspired by her fellow educators and students alike, she brings patience, joy, and curiosity into every day.
Outside of the classroom, you’ll find her crafting ideas from Pinterest, writing short stories with a cup of tea, and snuggling with her dog, Luna.
