At Montessori School of Silicon Valley, some families become part of the fabric of our school community over many years. This week, we are honored to spotlight the Hayes family, whose Montessori journey has been connected to our campuses since 2018.

Walter is currently part of our O’Keeffe Primary Community at Crescent Montessori, but his MSOSV journey began much earlier. He started at our Calaveras Montessori location when he was just four months old, joining our Nido Community as an infant. In June 2023, when he turned two years old, Walter transitioned to Crescent Montessori, continuing the Montessori experience that had already become such an important part of his family’s life.

Walter is the youngest of four children, and all of his siblings have also attended Crescent Montessori. Over the years, his family has built meaningful memories, relationships, and connections within our school community.

His family shared:

“Since 2018, all four of our kids have gone to Crescent Montessori, and it’s been a wonderful experience. We’ve made amazing memories here and feel lucky to be a part of such a warm community. Even after our youngest graduates Kinder next year, don’t be surprised if we still show up to visit!”

Walter’s story is a beautiful reflection of the long-lasting relationships that grow within a Montessori community. From Nido to Primary, and from one sibling to the next, his family’s journey shows the trust, connection, and sense of belonging that make Crescent Montessori such a special place.
