At Montessori School of Silicon Valley, we believe that Montessori education supports not only the child, but the entire family. This month, we are delighted to spotlight the Chambers Family from Peak Ave Montessori.

Avalyn is currently part of our Lupine Community at Peak Ave Montessori. She began her Montessori journey with us when she was four years old and has continued to grow through the support of a nurturing classroom environment, meaningful school experiences, and the guidance of dedicated staff.

Her family shared that their experience at Peak Ave Montessori has had a positive impact on their whole family:

“Our family has greatly benefited since our daughter joined the P.A.M. community. From holiday events together with staff and other families to Open House and conference sessions with our Lead Guide, we have felt the Montessori philosophy extend to each of us rather than just our preschooler who is enrolled.”

For Avalyn’s family, Peak Ave Montessori has provided more than a classroom experience. Through family events, conferences, classroom connections, and the partnership between home and school, they have felt welcomed into a community that supports their daughter’s growth in meaningful ways.

Her family also shared:

“The staff are open, welcoming and truly skilled in their support and guidance of our daughter’s journey and we have seen not only dramatic improvement while she is in the school environment and her own skills she has developed there, but also transferable independence and social skills at home.”

Avalyn’s growth is a beautiful reflection of the Montessori approach in action. The independence, confidence, and social skills she has developed in the classroom have carried into her home life, helping her continue to thrive beyond the school day.
