Fall is a special time at Crescent Montessori, bringing opportunities for children to celebrate the season, express their creativity, and make memories with their school community.

In preparation for our annual Harvest Festival, our classrooms have been busy creating personalized festival bags that children will carry with them throughout the celebration. Our youngest children in Pre Primary are making their mark through collaborative handprint and footprint artwork, while our Primary children are using their creativity to design bags that reflect their individuality. Each bag will include the child’s name and year, creating a special keepsake for families to treasure.

These small classroom projects are a wonderful reflection of the Montessori experience. Children take pride in their work, practice independence, and experience the joy of creating something that is uniquely their own.

On Friday, October 16th, from 4:00–5:00 PM, we look forward to welcoming our Crescent families for an afternoon of fall fun!

Children are invited to wear their favorite costumes and enjoy festive games, hands-on crafts, treats, and seasonal activities. Our little pumpkin patch will also be ready for children to explore and select a pumpkin of their very own to bring home.

While the activities bring excitement for our children, Harvest Festival is also an opportunity to strengthen the relationships that make our Crescent community so special. Families can spend time together, connect with teachers, meet other parents, and enjoy seeing their children share their school experience with those they love.

At Crescent, we believe a strong school community is built through meaningful connections and shared experiences. Events like Harvest Festival give us the opportunity to come together outside of our daily routines and celebrate the friendships and relationships that continue to grow throughout the school year.

We are excited to kick off our season of fall festivities and look forward to a wonderful afternoon filled with creativity, laughter, and community.
